Our 2nd generation humbucker pickup specifically designed for use in cigar box guitars & homemade instruments! The best just got better, we listened to our customers and made some improvements. The cover and frame are now rosewood, we have also added a black fiber baseplate to add strength and style. We still use Alnico 5 magnets which add more focus and enhanced dynamics. Enamel-coated magnet wire delivers warm vintage-style tones. These pickups available in 3 and 4 string configuration measure 8.8k. These low-profile pickups are designed specifically for surface mounting on cigar box guitars. They eliminate the need for cutting a large hole in the box and slotting the neck. Simply mount on the surface of the box and run the wire through a small hole to connect with the rest of the electronics. This pickup is rated at 3k, so it's nice and hot for guitar installations! Make sure the magnets face the strings.  Dimensions: 1.7" x .96" with a thickness of .23" Covers not included, find covers here.

The perfect single coil pickup for those builds where cost is an issue. Don't let the low price fool you, this 4.5K pickup has lots of snap, check the video for a sound sample. The coil measures 2 1/2 inches long by 3/8 inches wide and 3/8 inches tall. You can select an optional cover or create your own. To install, cut a small slot in the top and install the pickup assembly. Hardware included. Looking for an economic pickup with some real power? This little single coil packs a lot of punch into a small package. Measuring 2 3/4 by 3/4 by 3/8, it's easy to install, cut a small slot in your lid, glue the pickup in the optional cover and mount with screws. Feel free to experiment. Connect to our Volume/Tone/Jack Harness and you have a great electronics package at a very reasonable price. With your own mounting ideas. The pickup checks in at 9K and will provide a really big sound at a reasonable price.
