I’ve used these hot rails twice now and never disappointed great pickup

This is my go to pickup. No matter what type of guitar I build I know this will look and sound good. I don't like putting on the pole type because I think it just looks like I'm missing something. This also has a great sound and multiple ways to hookup.

I was quite pleasantly surprised after I installed this little *beauty*.
I had another, similar pick-up, which actually sounded pretty good, but this one tops the first one: nice, warm, but, *crunchy* sound! -- in fact, I'm buying another one for the neck position!

I bought this about two months ago and finally installed it in the neck position of a guitar I put together. I used it loud, with a band today. Keep in mind I use fairly high levels of distortion, but even with moderate distortion levels it was badly microphonic. I'm pretty disappointed in it. It will work for clean sounds of course. I suppose I shouldn't expect much for $9.50.
