These low-profile pickups are designed specifically for surface mounting on cigar box guitars. They eliminate the need for cutting a large hole in the box and slotting the neck. Simply mount on the surface of the box and run the wire through a small hole to connect with the rest of the electronics.

This pickup is rated at 3k, so it's nice and hot for guitar installations! Make sure the magnets face the strings.

Awesome Single Coil!

I have used several of these pickups and they don't get much better when it comes to ease of installation and quality. These things sound great and have several possible ways you can install them and look great with the various covers as well. A++++

I love these pickups. They are super hot and can go from clean tones or pushed into a nice growl. Easily mounted and in a very compact package.

From Toys to Legitimate Rockers

I got a pair of cigar box guitars, a 3 string and a 4 string, about 5 years ago. Rarely plugged them in since the piezo pickups really needed an acoustic style preamp to be at the same level as my regular electric guitars. Then along came these pickups in the mail. Took all of an hour to install them in both guitars. All I can say, slide guitar + Big Muff = Heaven
